Two Days Of Our Lives Fan-Favorites Are Returning For Beyond Salem Season 2

"Days of Our Lives" is going all out for Season 2 of its spin-off series "Beyond Salem." The limited series, which streams on Peacock, has announced that beloved soap opera super couple Bo and Hope Brady are set to reunite. Actors Kristian Alfonso and Peter Reckell will be back as the fan-favorite duo for the 5-episode season, per TVLine.

In addition, more "Days of Our Lives" fan-favorite couples like Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will also be back in action for Season 2, per TV Insider.

The outlet also confirms that some new faces have been added to the cast. In addition to Steve Burton joining "Beyond Salem," former "Grey's Anatomy" actress Loretta Devine and actor Vince Van Patten have also joined the series. Meanwhile, Steve and Kayla's children, Stephanie and Joey Johnson, have been recast as newcomers Abigail Klein and Tanner Stine will debut as the Johnson siblings (via The U.S. Sun). Both Klein and Stine are reportedly going to appear on "Days of Our Lives" as well.

However, some of the biggest casting news for "Beyond Salem" Season 2 has revealed that two former "Days of Our Lives" favorites will be back in action as well.

Eileen Davidson is returning to Beyond Salem as Kristen DiMera

Eileen Davidson is a face that soap opera fans know well. In addition to playing the role of Ashley Abbott on "The Young and the Restless," the actress is also well-known for her role as Kristen DiMera on "Days of Our Lives." Currently, the role of Kristen is being filled by actress Stacy Haiduk, but that hasn't stopped the NBC soap opera from finding a way to bring Davidson back for fans to enjoy.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star previously starred as Kristen during "Beyond Salem" Season 1 (via Soap Opera Network), and she'll be back in action for Season 2 as well. However, this time she's bringing her husband with her. Davidson's longtime husband, Vince Van Patten, will also join her on the "Days of Our Lives" spin-off series this summer, per BravoTV. "Let the games begin! Again!" Davidson wrote via her Instagram account when the news of her "Beyond Salem" return broke.

Of course, Davidson isn't the only familiar face that "Days of Our Lives" fans will get to see again during "Beyond Salem." Another former fan-favorite character will also return to the canvas during the show's five-episode run in July.

Christopher Sean is reprising the role of Paul Narita

As if Eileen Davidson's return for "Beyond Salem" Season 2 wasn't enough to get "Days of Our Lives" fans pumped, it's also confirmed that actor Christopher Sean will reprise his role as Paul Narita in the spin-off series (via Deadline). As many fans will remember, Paul came to Salem and immediately interjected himself in the middle of Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis' relationship. He was also discovered to be the son of John Black. Although Paul left Salem and moved to San Francisco, it seems that he'll be back on the canvas this summer when John heads to California to visit his son.

Since leaving "Days of Our Lives," Sean has been keeping very busy. He's appeared in the Netflix hit series "You," and "NCIS: Los Angeles," per Soap Opera Network. He's also lent his voice to many TV and video games like "Star Wars: Visions," "Marvel's Avengers," and "Gotham Knights."

Following the news of his "Days of Our Lives" return, Sean shared his excitement via Twitter. "Honored that @nbcdays brought back Paul Narita for #BeyondSalem on the @peacockTV app," he wrote. "Three cheers to my DOOL family and all the fans that have showed so much love and welcomed me back with such a warm embrace. Much Love."

Fans can see all of the new and old faces during "Beyond Salem" Season 2, which begins streaming on Peacock on July 11.
