Who Are Ivana Trump's Ex-Husbands?

The late Ivana Trump was well-known because of her headline-making marriage to former President Donald Trump, who was married from 1977 to 1992. The former Czechoslovakian model and the billionaire had three children — Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump — before famously splitting amidst a cheating scandal. Although Ivana might have been Trump's first wife, the real estate billionaire wasn't her first or only husband. Born Ivana Marie Zelnickova, she was married four times before her death at age 73 on July 14, 2022, according to Reuters

In 2017, the successful businesswoman told Page Six she had no interest in marrying again after the dissolution of her last marriage. "I have companions to take me to lunch and to dinner and to the beach," she said. "But I do not date. That part of my life is over." So, who were the men successful enough to woo the beautiful and strong-willed personality?

Ivana's fist marriage was in the 1970s

Ivana Zelnickova was raised in a town near Prague in what is now known as the Czech Republic, where she competed in skiing for the Czechoslovakian national system, according to Reuters. That's how she met her first husband, 25-year-old Austrian ski instructor Alfred Winklmayr. Only 22 when the two married in 1971 in Prague, Ivana later revealed through her attorney as part of her divorce from Donald Trump that her first marriage had been one of convenience for the sake of gaining freedom from the communist country during the Cold War, per The Washington Post. Ivana argued that she and Winklmayr never lived together nor did they consummate the marriage. After obtaining an Austrian passport, she immigrated to Canada and, eventually, the marriage "was dissolved."

Ivana was working as a model and living in Montreal when her path crossed Trump's a few years later. The two met inside a crowded New York restaurant, where the young mogul helped her and her friends secure a table. The two married in 1977, and Ivana supported her husband by acting as a manager for The Trump Organization. In 1992, the two experienced a highly publicized divorce after news of Trump's affair with Marla Maples was revealed, according to Page Six

Ivana Trump married again in 1995

After her marriage to Donald Trump ended, Ivana Trump became involved with Italian entrepreneur Riccardo Mazzucchelli, who wooed her with a room full of roses and proposed numerous times until she said yes, according to People. The couple married in 1995, only to divorce two years later. Neither side was shy about laying blame on the other, with Ivana's representatives implying Mazzucchelli had been interested in her $20 million-plus divorce settlement from Donald Trump. Mazzucchelli, already a millionaire, denied that accusation and claimed Donald Trump had "done nothing but knife me in the back. Maybe he's jealous."

He also claimed to have ended the relationship, which Ivana rebutted in a statement at the time. "I don't wash the dirty laundry in front of nobody. What happened, I really can't comment on it because of the confidentiality agreement," she said. Their divorce became so bitter, that they each sued each other for remarks made in public.

Ivana Trump tied the knot again in 2008

Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi might have been 24 years younger than Ivana Trump when they met in 1993, but that didn't stop sparks from flying between the two. According to The Sun, the couple began their relationship as friends until 2002, when they began dating. Six years later, they married at Mar-a-Lago, but the marriage didn't last a year. The two divorced in 2009 but continued to date off and on for years afterward. Ivana told Page Six that the two stayed friends, but their relationship "just ran its course." She added, "The long-distance relationship really doesn't work. We had a good time and are friends. The split was amicable."

Ivana's fourth husband also told the publication the two remained close, saying, "Ivana is always family for me." Unfortunately, Rubicondi passed away only a year before his ex-wife did, succumbing at the age of 49 to a form of skin cancer, per the New York Post
