Bachelorette Hannah Brown Is Definitely Joining Dancing With The Stars

After days of speculation, Dancing With the Stars has confirmed that The Bachelorette's Hannah Brown will be appearing on Season 28.

The celebrity competitors were announced on August 21 on Good Morning America. "I'm so excited," Hannah said on the show. "I want a fresh start, something that I can, you know, go all in with emotionally, physically, spiritually and I think dancing is something that I can do that with."

Hannah had previously teased that she might be competing on the show. "I grew up dancing," she told Extra on August 19. "I stopped around 16 or 17, dancing all the time. So, I'm good."

Fans also suspected that Hannah might be one of the contestants on the upcoming season after the Dancing With the Stars Instagram account posted a black and white photo of a contestant on August 17. Fans speculated that the picture might be of the Bachelorette. The photo was taken from the neck down, but commenters noted that a beauty mark on the subject's hand aligned with a beauty mark on Hannah's hand.

The announcement comes just over a week after Hannah revealed that she has been struggling after the drama that concluded her Bachelorette season. Hannah broke off her engagement to the show's winner, Jed Wyatt. She then asked out the runner-up, Tyler Cameron. The two went on a date, but just days later Tyler began dating supermodel Gigi Hadid. "Honest policy: I'm  struggling," Hannah wrote on Instagram on August 12. "Life is so different."

Hopefully, her upcoming stint on Dancing With the Stars will help Hannah put the difficult year behind her. Joining Hannah on Dancing With the Stars are several other familiar faces, including actor James Van Der Beek, supermodel Christie Brinkley, country music star Lauren Alaina, Queer Eye star Karamo Brown, and former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer

Season 28 of Dancing With the Stars premieres on September 16.
