Sarah Huckabee Sanders & Her Husband Flaunt Double Fashion Fail In Latest Post
Sarah Huckabee Sanders made a big announcement on Instagram on November 3: She will be running for re-election as the Governor of Arkansas. "It's an honor to serve as the Governor of the greatest state in the nation," she captioned. "I look forward to continuing our mission of taking Arkansas to the top." Included in the photo carousel was a photo taken of her filing for re-election. While that's all well and good, it wasn't the biggest jaw-dropper in that post.
She also shared a snapshot of herself with husband Bryan Sanders, both beaming ear to ear. However, they really need to either fire their wardrobe person or find a new one, because their outfits were clashing hard. She wore a little black dress, while he rocked a navy suit. Of course, couples don't need to be matchy-matchy, but navy and black — especially for a significant event — aren't the best combo.
Moreover, the zipper on Sarah's dress was doing way too much. It moonlighted as a fancy accoutrement, when really it just looked off-putting. It was in a weird spot, as if the manufacturer ran out of material, so they just slapped on a bizarre zipper to fill in the gap. Bryan also appeared to be wearing the exact same outfit as in his wife's Instagram profile picture — down to the same colored tie. Someone better call Lizzie McGuire, because Bryan is an outfit repeater. Does he only own one suit and tie? His wife alone is worth over $1 million, so there should be enough in the family budget to buy a second suit.
She seemed to finally update her wardrobe
One positive aspect of Sarah Huckabee Sanders' latest look on Instagram is that she ditched both her leather obsession and her tired shoe look. Over the last couple of years, the Governor of Arkansas has made leather a staple in her wardrobe, from skirts to dresses and even shorts. It's been a lot. Thankfully, Instagram users weren't treated to another unsolicited leather look.
As for her shoes, Sanders wore a pair of classic black pumps for the recent photo, which complemented the black dress quite well. It's amazing how a little bit of color can really make an outfit pop. Sanders has been a big fan of her nude-colored sandals this year, wearing them on multiple occasions. This included March, when she welcomed teen DJ Daniel as the honorary Chief of the State Capitol Police in Arkansas, and April, when she took her youngest son to work with her.
The politician likes what she likes, and when she finds a new favorite style, she isn't afraid to wear it over and over again to both professional and personal events. It seems like Bryan Sanders is following in his wife's footsteps with his one suit look.
