Vanessa Trump Finally Reveals Where She Stands With Tiger Woods After His Humiliating Arrest

Vanessa Trump is standing by her man and not afraid to let the world know it. She posted a photo cuddling up to her boyfriend Tiger Woods to her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 3, decorated with heart emojis and including a clear message for the golfer. "Love you," she wrote above the photo of the pair. The public post comes three days after Woods announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he was stepping away from golf and the spotlight (again) to seek treatment. On March 27, Woods was arrested near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida and charged with a DUI with property damage after the SUV he was driving was involved in a rollover crash.

The athlete's recent arrest is just the newest tragic detail in a life full of them. Woods has a history of legal trouble, chronic pain, and addiction to prescription pills. "I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time," his post on X concluded.

Vanessa Trump and Tiger Woods' relationship has reportedly been tense since his arrest

Insiders close to Vanessa Trump and Tiger Woods didn't appear to think Woods' arrest would cause the couple to break up, but it did reveal cracks in their romance that the public didn't previously see. "[Vanessa's] both disappointed and a little bit p***ed, if I'm being honest. It's a definite red flag and she told him that he's going to get this sorted out, and that she's going to require that," a source told the Daily Mail after Woods' March 2026 arrest. "He has to get things under control, or she's not going to stick around."

As for Woods, despite an extensive history of injuries and serious car accidents that sometimes result in legal consequences, he reportedly has a very sketchy reason for not hiring a personal driver. A source told People that the controversial athlete "doesn't want anyone to watch over him or know what he is doing." The insider added that Woods is a homebody who prefers spending time with his kids over hitting the social scene. "He despises public scrutiny," the source said. That seems like the perfect reason to hire a driver to help you stay out of headlines and legal trouble, but apparently Woods doesn't agree.
