What The View's Joy Behar Looks Like With Next To No Makeup
As a long-time host of "The View," Joy Behar is known for her outspokenness, which sometimes causes scandals, such as dragging Melania Trump when insulting Donald Trump. Other than her political views and wild on-show feuds, Behar is recognized for her polished looks behind the desk. The TV personality has been vocal about her signature, face-framing blowout and the fact that she's not a natural redhead. While Behar isn't hesitant to discuss any cosmetic changes, she's also not afraid to wear a makeup look that's more minimal than her usual television glam.
In August 2026, Behar went to Helltown Kitchen in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The TV host, wearing an all-black outfit, posed with Helltown Kitchen's owner Willy Garcia for the restaurant's Instagram post. Behar kept her makeup simple by wearing gray eyeshadow and a red lip. Overall, Behar's skin looks amazing in her 80s. Her forehead, chin, and cheeks seem smooth. Her cheeks also look plump for someone in their twilight years, which could be a result of having good skin and investing in nonsurgical skin treatments. She also wore her hair down without the volume that fans of "The View" are used to seeing on screen.
Behar confirmed she never had a facelift
Joy Behar will be turning 84 in October 2026, and fans are wondering how she looks nothing like it. Behar is more than happy to share what beauty regimens work for her, but also lets people know she's never gone under the knife to look younger.
In a February 2026 People interview, Behar said, "People think I had a facelift. I did not have a facelift. Basically, I just get Botox and filler." She also mentioned that she avoided getting plastic surgery after seeing how it looked in the '80s. "I have one friend who got a facelift when she was 30, and she wanted to be prettier. I never heard of such a thing at the time," she recalled. "But remember the work in the '80s, you looked so strange. But I knew a lot of women who were addicted to plastic surgery."
Sticking to non-invasive procedures helped Behar achieve a younger appearance without looking like she desperately needs a different plastic surgeon. However, those procedures aren't the only things she credited for her looks. "I happen to have good skin. I inherited that from my mother. I don't really have a lot of wrinkles," she pointed out. Luckily for Behar, her mother's skin combined with some Botox and filler has made her look great since Barbara Walters created "The View."
