Kathie Lee Gifford has a tight bond with her kids, Cassidy and Cody. They grew even closer after the death of Gifford's husband, Frank Gifford, in 2015. "They're both great human beings who realized that their mama needs them now more than they need me," Gifford told People in 2017.
While both of Gifford's children are grown and living on their own, they still see each other quite a bit. "They come home a lot, and it means the world to me," said the television personality. Cassidy tied the knot in June 2020, much to the delight of her mom. "So thrilled to announce that my beautiful daughter, @cassidygiff is engaged to a wonderful man, Ben @letsgetwierda," Gifford wrote on Instagram following their engagement. "I am beyond the moon and stars. Thank you, LORD!"
Not only do Cassidy and her mom both have thriving on-screen careers, but they also look a lot alike. Fans were quick to notice that the mother and daughter are like twins in April 2020 when Cassidy took to her Instagram Live with footage of herself and her mom getting some sunshine outdoors as they both wore large sunglasses paired with a straw hat and a black top. "Quarantine is turning me into my mother," she said (via Fox News).
