The Best Dressed Stars At The 2020 CMA Awards

Country music's biggest night is here! The 54th Annual CMA Awards was kicked off with a Charlie Daniels tribute featuring Jason Aldean and Brothers Osborne, and by hosts Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker. And guess what? There was actually an audience as the show aired live from Nashville — socially distanced, yes, but warm bodies filled the auditorium, smiling and laughing. It was an amazing sight to see, as was the dazzling fashion adorned by the country stars we love most. From Miranda Lambert, who was pretty in pink, to Maren Morris, who wasn't afraid to show her sexy side less than a year post-baby, our favorite singers brought it!

Miranda Lambert brought it in bubble gum pink

Miranda Lambert is always a ray of sunshine, and tonight was no exception. The "Bluebird" crooner looked lovely in a bright and pretty shade of pink. Can we also just mention she looks amazing these days? Her body-hugging dress was highly flattering, and coupled with soft makeup and hair, and hot pink pumps, this is one country star whose style we would copy without a second thought.

Maren Morris brought the sexy back

New mom Maren Morris took home the night's first award for Single of the Year for her song "The Bones," and won big for her choice of fashion. Her negligee-inspired look left little to the imagination. The star, who had a baby eight months ago, paired a black bustier with high-waisted short shorts, and a transparent, frilly, robe-like duster coat. The look was finished by look-at-me heels and show-stopping red lips. Congratulations to Morris on her success both professionally, and as a shoo-in for any CMA Awards best dressed list.

Carrie Underwood brought classic country to the CMAs

Fact: Carrie Underwood can do no wrong. And tonight was no exception. The reliably-beautiful and fashionable country star seemed to have taken her outfit inspiration from the women who came before her, like Dolly Parton and, well, Reba McEntire. Her one-shoulder, embellished gown reminded us of classic country red carpet glory days, and we are here for it. And that beachy blonde hair? Could we be any more jealous? Well done Ms. Underwood.

Gabby Barrett brought a Michael Jackson vibe to the CMAs

Gabby Barrett recently opened up about how stepping onto the CMA Awards stage super pregnant would present certain challenges — in fact, she confessed she was having trouble breathing in her third trimester with her baby all up in her ribs! But girl, we thought you sounded incredible! And, you looked amazing. Indeed, Barrett borrowed a page from Michael Jackson's playbook with her look, and it worked! Hello bejeweled gloves and embellished shoulder pads. We're into it. Well done, soon-to-be mama.

Caylee Hammack channeled Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman

Who will ever forget how flawless red-haired Julia Roberts looked wearing a red gown in Pretty Woman? Well, Caylee Hammack certainly hasn't forgotten, as she seemed to channel the iconic actress' look on the CMA Awards red carpet. We are loving her energy and the vibrant hue of her tresses and her dress, which also featured a bit of 1920s flair. It's been a great fashion season for Hammack, who also looked stunning at the CMT Awards.
