90 Day Fiancé: The Real Reason Kalani And Asuelu Are Buying A New House

Fans just can't seem to get enough of TLC's hit show "90 Day Fiancé," so the franchise just keeps popping out more spinoffs and seasons. The hype surrounding the series is largely due to the larger-than-life personalities that occupy the screen, as viewers get whisked into whirlwind romances and played-up drama. Season 6 of "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?" catches up with several fan-favorite husband and wife pairs to see where life has taken the reality TV stars since their debuts.

According to the network, "Viewers can expect to see 'the many painful realities and unexpected obstacles ahead as [the couples] continue to navigate cultural differences, in-laws, transgressions and more,'" per BBC Gossip. Some of the confirmed couples include Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi, Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet, Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith, and — last but not least — Kalani Faagata and Asuela, who also starred in Season 5 and met while Kalani was on vacation in Samoa. They became pregnant on the trip, and have now welcomed two sons into their family. But as the drama between the pair continued to unfold in the Season 6 premiere, viewers are left wondering: How happy is this family of four, really?

Kalani is hoping for a fresh start

At this point, the once-dynamic-duo is seriously struggling with their rushed marriage. In the first episode, their constant cycle of ups and downs is put on full display. In a last-ditch effort to save their union, they're considering making a hefty new purchase.

According to TV Insider, Kalani's chief motivation for moving into a new-build home is to give and Asuela a fresh start. Because kids are on the table, neither star wants to give up just yet. Additionally, Kalani wants to give her husband the space he so desires. "I just want to have my own space, take care of my own family, not worry and not uncomfortable to live with other people," Asuela said (via Entertainment Tonight). However, Kalani's sister, Kolini, who has never hopped aboard the Asuela train, is set to come for a visit, and she's already planning the divorce party. Will moving into brand new digs be enough to keep to this marriage intact? Or will it just be a band-aid that Kolini is about to rip off? We'll have to wait and see.
