Here Are January Jones' Beauty Must-Haves

January Jones' signature style is about as iconic as her character in "Mad Men," Betty Draper. The award-winning actor and model donned red lipstick and wore her blond hair in loose old Hollywood curls for the part that shot her to stardom. However, in real life, she keeps her look a lot simpler. Here are January Jones' beauty must-haves.

On Instagram, Jones shares snapshots into her busy life as a working mum and it's pretty clear that she's got the products she loves nailed down. In a recent picture shared with her 1.1 million Instagram followers, Jones took fans into her bathroom cabinet for an inside look at products she uses every day. She captioned the picture, "what can I say, routines are my therapy (tap for my favs)." She featured several luxurious Sisley Paris moisturizers. She also highlighted their Black Rose Facial Oil as a favorite. Dermalogica Sleep Cocoon and Clinical Cleansing Complex are clear in the image with Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate appearing in her cabinet, too.

In the past, Jones has been open about her beauty secrets. "I always love taking moments for myself — I like to take 20 minutes to lay in the bath, with a mask in my hair and a mask on my face," she told Into The Gloss. "I think I started really caring about my skin when I was modeling, just because we have to wear so much makeup. I don't get facials professionally done, either — I like to do them at home."

January Jones keeps her makeup simple

Her character Betty Draper may embody old Hollywood glamour but generally speaking, actor January Jones rocks a much more pared back, natural look. Her red carpet appearances are always super glowy, with an emphasis on dewy skin, and a slick of lip gloss.

She told Into The Gloss that, when it comes to covering spots or blemishes, she relies on concealer. She said she likes Clé de Peau Concealer, explaining, "I have these nonexistent, white lashes. I don't curl them." Instead, she uses Chanel Le Volume Mascara to add length and thickness. She said that's as far as she will go with her everyday look. However, if she's going out she may do her brows with Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in Blonde and she's a big fan of Diorliner for her eyes. "For lips, I'll do a Chanel or Nars red. The Nars Red Square Velvet Matte Lip Pencil is my favorite red, and Chanel Boy is a good neutral," she told the outlet.

As Jones became known for rocking a red lip during her time on "Mad Men," it's one of the looks that first springs to mind when you think of her makeup style. She told InStyle that another favorite is Chanel Rouge Allure Lip Colour in the shade Coromandel. "I have so many great reds, but this one from Chanel is my favorite," she said, "It's the perfect shade for my skin tone."

She's a skincare fanatic

January Jones definitely recognizes that a good makeup look starts with a great base. If her Instagram is anything to go by, she knows her stuff. Jones regularly shares the detoxifying soak she takes in the bath and the face masks she reaches for. The Zoe Report explains that in the past Jones has shouted out Drunk Elephant, Allies Of Skin, Sisley Paris, Tata Harper, May Lindstrom, deMamiel, and True Botanicals.

"I mix things up (and often mix things together), but this is what's been working for me lately. I realize it seems excessive/expensive but my routines keep me sane and good skin is an investment in yourself. Find what works for you," she said in a since-deleted January 28 Instagram post (via Refinery29).

She also told Into The Gloss that she's used the Avene Cleanance Gel, Shani Darden's Retinol Reform, and the Juara Invigorating Coffee Scrub. She said she's got a look in mind when choosing her products. "I love that kind of '70s, glowy look — with the shiny hair and the dewy skin. Yesterday I was googling David Bailey's photos of Jean Shrimpton for references. She was my icon for yesterday," she revealed.
