Of All Of Ashley Graham's Looks - This Stands Above The Rest
Ashley Graham blessed us in 2010 when she popped up on runways and in editorial spreads, looking like a queen. The Nebraska-born bombshell made history within the world of modeling and fashion with body proportions that were unlike anything that anyone had seen in the industry before.
In 2016, she became the first size 16 body to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, showing off her beautiful curves in a way that no one had seen on the magazine's cover before, per People. Then, in 2017, she became the first plus-size model to appear on the cover of Vogue Magazine (via Allure), which led to a series of "firsts" in her career due to her incredible looks, confidence, and energy as a model. Graham completely changed the face of the industry by introducing the world to the notion of body positivity within mainstream media, primarily the fashion world.
Needless to say, there's virtually nothing that Graham doesn't look amazing in. But is there one look in particular that stands above the rest? We think so!
Ashley made her own line of swimwear
From stomping the runway and looking chic on Instagram to sporting her best mom 'fits, Ashley Graham is a bombshell in everything she wears. Furthermore, we love that she loves fashion even when she's not modeling; it's something she's passionate about on a daily basis.
As comfortable as she is galavanting around in bathing suits and string bikinis, however, Graham decided one day that she didn't like the selection of swimwear available for larger bodies. "I didn't have sexy, supportive lingerie that I could find for my size," she revealed to Vogue Australia in 2019. "And same goes with bikinis, I wanted little tiny string bikinis and nobody wanted to make them for my curvy-ass body, so I did it!" That's right – the history-making, the body-positive model took matters into her own hands and literally designed her own clothing line, working with Swimsuits For All as well as Addition Elle (via Life and Style Magazine).
As for our favorite outfits of her, one of the them occurred at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where she was spotted wearing a cream two-piece outfit, with a stylish long-sleeve crop top with an off-the-shoulder detail, and a cheeky little bit of midriff showing (via PopSugar).

Another one of our favorite Ashley Graham fashion moments was at the September 2016 GQ Men Of The Year Awards. The beautiful model opted for a black asymmetric Tadashi Shoji gown with a plunging neckline. She paired the outfit with an adorable black choker, a pair of strappy black heels, and her hair pushed off her face (via Elle). But when it comes to the most unforgettable outfits worn by Graham, there's one that we love more than the rest.
On June 3, 2019, Graham attended the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards at Brooklyn Museum and could have easily been mistaken for a piece of art, herself. Her outfit in question was designed by "Project Runway" star Christian Siriano, which Bravo TV called "one of the most eye-catching ensembles of the evening." The outfit was an all-black statement dress that hugged her curves in all the right places and ruffled shoulder pads that were a gorgeous detail.
She paired the LBD with a wide brim hat, long theatre-style gloves, black heels, black sunglasses, and diamonds, all of which added together were giving us some serious Audrey Hepburn a la "Breakfast at Tiffany's" vibes. And honestly? The look is literally unforgettable. And perhaps as the ultimate accessory and fashion brag, Siriano joined Graham as she walked down the pink carpet (via Harper's Bazaar).
