DWTS Just Got More Bad News About The Health Of Their Cast Members

Sunday night we learned that "Dancing With the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke had tested positive for Covid-19, with the star taking to her Instagram to share the unfortunate health news with her fans. At the time, Burke noted she felt bad for her partner, Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby, because his journey in the competition would obviously be impacted since she had to quarantine.

Monday night, "DWTS" judges including Carrie Ann Inaba decided to evaluate the couple's rehearsal footage to determine if they would stay on the show. Luckily, things went their way, and it was decided that Burke and Rigsby would live to see another day on the ABC reality dance show.

Taking to her Instagram again Thursday, Burke updated fans about her symptoms, noting having Covid-19 "hasn't been great" (via CNN).

And now, it turns out that Rigsby has also tested positive for the virus, even though like Burke, he is fully vaccinated (via People).

Cody Rigsby is Covid-19 positive again

Believe it or not, as People reports, Rigsby has tested positive for the virus for the second time this year.

As the star shared in an Instagram video, he first contracted Covid-19 in February, before getting vaccinated, and was much sicker then. "So that must be the vaccine antibodies working. So we're super grateful for that," he said. Rigsby added he has a headache and mild congestion at this point, and then joked he was going to eat all the yummy food he could because he still had his sense of taste.

"As far as my fate on 'Dancing with the Stars,' we're still trying to figure that out right now," Rigsby also told his nearly 1 million followers.

Meanwhile, star friends from Olivia Jade to Matt James, who are also contestants this season on "DWTS," filed into the comments section of Rigsby's post to wish him well.
