Oprah's interview with Meghan Markle was the interview seen around the world. Over 17 million people were watching that night, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex got more candid than they had ever been before (via Business Insider). The couple talked about everything from their second pregnancy to mental health, but the real surprises were in the details. It turns out that one person wasn't surprised about what was said on the interview, but rather what the stars were sitting in.

While some people were looking at Markle's gorgeous dress and makeup as she spoke, others were taking a close look at the décor. For good reason, of course. The interview was set up in a gorgeous, lush garden at Oprah's friend's house. The couple was surrounded by gorgeous plants and sat around in lovely wicker chairs. Chairs that just happen to be made by the "Brady Bunch" star Christopher Knight's company (via People).

Because if you're going to do an interview with the royals, everything matters — especially if you're the one that designed it.

Christopher Knight's company made Oprah's wicker chairs

It turns out that not everyone in the world was watching Oprah's interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. According to People, Christopher Knight wasn't watching the interview on the night it premiered, but he soon heard about it. The publication reports that the "Brady Bunch" star's company actually made the wicker chairs that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were sitting in when they joined Oprah for the interview.

"It was a huge deal. We call it Chairgate," the star told the publication. He also mentions in the interview that the chairs instantly sold out, which is actually how he found out that the chairs were featured on the interview. "We have, at any one time, upwards of six, seven thousand active SKUs," Knight told People. "There's no way to be intimately [familiar] with all of them."

It's pretty interesting to know that not even the brands that the royals wear or use are tipped off before the rest of the world. It truly does show just how real this moment was.

The wicker chairs go for a cool $578 per set

It's no secret that the royal family inspires tons of trends. Their fashion choices are always instantly selling out, but it turns out that the home décor is just as wanted as the other royal items. As soon as the Christopher Knight home chair appeared on the interview, the price shot up to a whopping $578 on Amazon.

What we're trying to say is that it's possible for you to stock up on the style of your own home, but it will definitely cost you. Fortunately, there are tons of other more affordable styles and sets available by the brand that look just as incredible for you to choose from as well.

"It was a pleasant surprise, and shocking in the income that came our way just because of them sitting in the chairs," he tells People. "You would've thought the importance of that interview would've overshadowed the chair! But it brought us a great deal of attention, which we were grateful for."

Who knew that one set of chairs could cause this much of a stir.
