Is Zac Efron Dating This Selling Sunset Star?
Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron has been linked to a number of actresses romantically, from former co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alexandra Daddario to his most recent tryst with model Vanessa Valladares (via Us Magazine), Efron is no stranger to dating women while navigating the spotlight.
However, being an A-List actor with zero privacy doesn't necessarily make for the healthiest of relationships. In July 2016, the "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" star lamented to the U.K. Times about how difficult dating has been since becoming a household name. "Dating is something I'll never be able to do," Efron explained. "As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another, I've impacted that person's life and they'll soon realize it. A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think about me."
With a face and body like Efron's, one would think he'd have no problem procuring dates, but alas, the "High School Musical" star revealed to the U.K. Times that he couldn't even get a swipe right on Tinder. "They thought [my profile] was fake," Efron stated.
Since his relationship with Valladares ended in April 2021, tabloids have been waiting with bated breath to link Efron to his next romantic interest. And when they saw him out with "Selling Sunset" star Amanza Smith in Las Vegas (via Cosmopolitan), they did just that!

Earlier this week, Efron was seen with "Selling Sunset" cast members Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young at a UFC event in Las Vegas. Thanks to an Instagram post from El Moussa, where Smith and Efron appeared to be a little close for comfort, dating rumors began spiraling.
Unfortunately for fans of "AmanZac" (that would obviously be their celebrity couple name), the two are not romantically involved. TMZ confirmed on December 14, 2021 that there is "nothing going on" between Smith and Efron. In fact, Smith is allegedly dating for a pro soccer player. Meanwhile, according to Us Weekly, Efron's upcoming "busy year of filming" won't allow time for a relationship.
So how did the reality TV darling and hunky star cross paths in the first place? According to TMZ, Efron was coincidentally in the same restaurant as the "Selling Sunset" cast, and hopped in for a quick photo.
