Adina has been an avid writer and editor for more than 20 years, having written for publications like The Washington Post, The Activated People, and the Afro Newspaper all in Washington, DC. While studying Communication at Virginia Tech, Adina did a work-study program with Virginia Tech News and Information, where she wrote press releases, talked to members of the media, and interviewed leadership for Virginia Tech Magazine.

Adina's received a B.A. in Communication from Virginia Tech and earned an M.A. in Journalism from American University.
