Adina has been an avid writer for more than 20 years. Her passion for writing developed when she began working on her high school newspaper. Since then, she has written for her college newspapers and magazines, the Washington Post, The Afro Newspaper, and many more publications. She began diving into editing more than 10 years ago and hasn't looked back. Adina has her master's degree in Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C. and a bachelor's degree in Communication from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.


Adina's education at Virginia Tech prepared her for a career in the communications field. She not only developed her public speaking skills but really honed in on her love for writing, which led her to American University to get her M.A. in Journalism. With the focus mainly being on political writing, she realized she wanted to write on a variety of topics and not be restricted to one. As the years passed, she perfected her writing skills in various areas through pitching and writing for a diverse array of publications. That's why she loves editing for Static Media -- there is so much variety!
