Over the course of her life, Miley Cyrus has had her fair share of love in different relationships, especially high-profile ones. The "Party In The U.S.A." singer has been linked to multiple celebrities, whether they were short-lived or long-term. Between her on-and-off relationship with her "The Last Song" costar Liam Hemsworth, her PDA-filled romance with "La Da Dee" singer Cody Simpson, and her single date with Justin Bieber back in the early 2000s, Cyrus has been taking the dating world by storm.

In 2015, Cyrus came out as pansexual (via Yahoo!), and from the very beginning, she has made it clear that she identifies as queer and dates whomever she wants. Speaking to Variety in October 2016, Cyrus revealed that her "eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade" about her sexuality and that her first relationship was with a girl. "My whole life, I didn't understand my own gender and my own sexuality. I always hated the word 'bisexual,' because that's even putting me in a box. I don't ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl," she said.

We all know about Cyrus' long-term relationship with one of the incredibly handsome Hemsworth brothers, but did you know she was once linked to a "Teen Wolf" actor and a Victoria's Secret model? Continue reading to learn all about Miley Cyrus' full dating history.

Miley Cyrus met Tyler Posey on the set of her dad's show, Doc

Attention "Teen Wolf" fans: Did you know Tyler Posey's first kiss was with Miley Cyrus? In the early 2000s, the up-and-coming stars dated when they were just pre-teens.

Posey opened up about their romance to Entertainment Tonight in June 2015, revealing that they met when he was just 9 years old on the set of the show "Doc." "I was basically the only kid on set. She would come on set every now and then and we became really good friends," Posey said. "We were both goofy and she was really loud, sweet, and funny — just a really cool kid."

Posey recalled to the news outlet how excited he would get whenever Cyrus came back onto the set, and how their relationship soon blossomed. "We were so damn young ... I would get excited when we would hold hands," he added. The two dated for two years, and although their relationship eventually ended, Posey always admired the fact that from a very young age, Cyrus was true to herself. "She was herself at 7 years old. She knew who she was. I never met anyone like that at my age," he shared.

Dylan Sprouse and Miley Cyrus were linked in the early Disney days

Back in the early Disney Channel days, there was nothing better than when our favorite stars would cross over onto different shows. The episode of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" when Hannah Montana made a guest appearance alongside Raven Baxter, played by Raven-Symoné, was an iconic moment in television history for many. Little did you know that more would come behind the scenes, including a quick relationship with one of the Sprouse brothers.

While appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in 2008, Dylan Sprouse revealed that when he was about 11 or 12 years old, he did in fact date the "Angels Like You" singer, but it was basically only for a day (via PopSugar). "We met on her set, I believe, and we dated. And then Nick Jonas walked by and it was over!" Sprouse joked.

Their relationship was incredibly short-lived, but Sprouse eventually did find love again. He has gone on to have quite a few girlfriends, including actress Kara Crane, who appeared on one episode of "The Suite Life on Deck" (via Seventeen). Sprouse has been dating his current girlfriend, Barbara Palvin, since 2018 (via People).

Nick Jonas and Miley were together between 2006 and 2007

Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus met when they were 13 years old back in June 2006 and dated until December 2007 (via PopSugar). They quickly became boyfriend and girlfriend, telling Seventeen that they became official the same day they met. "He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, 'I think you're beautiful and I really like you.' And I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, I like you so much,'" (via People). They soon became a Disney Channel power couple. We can thank Cyrus for being the inspiration behind the Jonas Brothers' love songs we all know and love. However, things went downhill when Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers left for their "Best of Both Worlds" tour, and their relationship soon ended.

The aftermath of their breakup was difficult. In her book "Miles to Go," Cyrus recalled their split. "Prince Charming and I broke up on December 19, 2007. The hardest day ever. My life felt like it had ground to a halt, but the rest of the world kept right on rolling. I was on tour. People were counting on me, but my head — no, my heart — was dizzy." She later told Seventeen that she "bawled for a month straight" and even dyed her hair black. "I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I've got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am."

Before filming The Last Song, Miley was dating singer Justin Gaston

Between 2008 and 2009, Miley Cyrus was dating singer Justin Gaston. The couple met while Gaston appeared on the singing competition show "Nashville Star," which is similar to "American Idol," where her father Billy Ray Cyrus was a cohost that season. Despite Gaston being five years older than Cyrus, the two were together for quite a bit, until Cyrus broke things off right before she left to film "The Last Song" (via Distractify).

The relationship was quite controversial due to the couple's age difference. At the time, Cyrus was only 15 years old and Gaston was 20. While appearing on Ryan Seacrest's radio show in 2008, Cyrus revealed that many people gave their opinions on their new relationship (via MTV). "After my last two years, there's been a lot of things that happened, so I've learned just not to judge anyone and go into our friendship with an open mind and not really worry about the age or anything," she said.

Sources later revealed to E! News that their split may have been partly due to the fact that Cyrus was spending more time with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas. "She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing," the source said. "She didn't cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time" (via MTV).

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus went on a dinner date in 2010

Was there a chance that Miley Cyrus could have been Justin Bieber's one less lonely girl? The internet basically collapsed when it was revealed that Bieber and the "We Can't Stop" singer went on a dinner date back in May 2010 (via Us Weekly). The two dined at Ari-ya Sushi in West Hollywood.

While many people were hoping that sparks were flying between the young stars, it was reported that Bieber claimed Cyrus was "not his type." Cyrus later cleared the air too, confirming that they only got together to discuss "a side project." Two months prior, Cyrus had opened up to Us Weekly that although she isn't a fan of Bieber's type of music, her sister is. "Bieber fever ... I'm not necessarily a fan. I don't listen to that kind of music. But my little sister was obsessed with him, and he actually gave her a shout-out on Twitter and I thought that was really sweet," she said.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley were together from 2009 to 2013

Buckle up: The romance between Miley Cyrus and her "The Last Song" costar Liam Hemsworth is a bumpy ride! The two met on set in 2009 and fell in love almost instantly. They made their official red carpet debut as a couple in March 2010, revealing three months later that Hemsworth was the muse behind a lot of the songs on her 2010 album, "Can't Be Tamed" (via Cosmopolitan).

Things took a turn for the worse when the couple first broke up in August 2010, got back together a month later, and split again in November 2010. Since then, their relationship was off and on for quite a while. By the time April 2011 rolled around, they were together for good, and Cyrus was even spotted with a ring on that finger at "The Hunger Games" movie premiere in March 2012 — but she quickly shut down engagement rumors soon after. In June 2012, People reported that the couple was engaged, but they eventually split again in September 2013. One day after their split, Hemsworth was seen kissing model Eiza Gonzalez (via Cosmopolitan).

Two years after they called their engagement off, the couple was spotted together again with Cyrus wearing the same ring, and they officially tied the knot in December 2018. However, they split again in August 2019, and Hemsworth filed for divorce less than two weeks later. Looking back, Cyrus called their marriage a "f***ing disaster" (via Elle).

Avan Jogia and Miley Cyrus were caught making out at her birthday party in 2010

Now this was the Nickelodeon and Disney Channel collab we never saw coming! In November 2010, things got red-hot between "Victorious" star Avan Jogia and "Hannah Montana" alum Miley Cyrus. During Cyrus' birthday bash, the two stars were caught leaning against a counter in a steamy make-out session just days before Cyrus' 18th birthday (via Us Weekly). In the photo, Jogia is seen kissing Cyrus' neck at the Trousdale nightclub in Los Angeles. That night, Cyrus was wearing tight black leather pants with a black crop top, looking completely different from her previous "Hannah Montana" alter ego.

According to the Daily Mail, Jogia and Cyrus were first linked in October 2010 when they were spotted at lunch together and later attended a Halloween party, soon after her first split with her "The Last Song" costar Liam Hemsworth.

Although their romance was very short-lived, considering Cyrus would soon get back together with Liam Hemsworth, Jogia has had nothing but good things to say about the singer. "She's super cool ... like a sweet down-to-earth [girl]... she's a nice girl," he told TigerBeat TV in November 2010.

Soon after her split from Liam Hemsworth, Miley hooked up with Kellan Lutz

Soon after her official split with Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus quickly rebounded with one of his best mates, Kellan Lutz, in December 2013, causing plenty of controversy. A source revealed to Us Weekly that the "Twilight" star reached out to the "7 Things" singer soon after the breakup. "The next day, they hung out," the source revealed. "And they've been hooking up ever since." The two even went on an overnight trip to the Bahamas together.

"It doesn't hurt that he's Liam's pal," the source continued. "They really enjoy each other's company."

In February 2016, Lutz got real about his so-called "relationship" with Cyrus, telling Entertainment Tonight that it wasn't as serious as it may have seemed. "We never dated," Lutz claimed. "It was hearsay, that was all gossip stuff." He continued that he was overjoyed to hear the news that Cyrus and Hemsworth were back together, one of the many times over the course of their on-and-off relationship. "It's something that I've even gone through in relationships," Lutz said. "You can date someone and it's not necessarily healthy because both people are growing. Then you kind of reconnect years later. I'm so happy for her and Liam," he said. "I hope they're very happy and it lasts forever, 'cause they're both beautiful people." Well, we know how that ended!

In February 2014, Miley was linked to Jared Leto

How could we ever forget the time Miley Cyrus began hooking up with Jared Leto in 2014? If you somehow managed to forget this moment in pop culture, allow us to refresh your memory. This relationship may seem quite surprising, but the two were indeed seen together soon after Cyrus' split from Kellan Lutz. A source revealed to Us Weekly that in early February, Cyrus spent the night at Leto's house in LA, and that she and the "Dallas Buyers Club" star had known each other for quite some time before they got together.

It seemed that the two were pretty comfortable with one another: According to the source, "they like to have a good time, they love to talk about art and music — and they're both comfortable with nudity!" However, not much came from the relationship other than hooking up. "Jared doesn't do girlfriends," another source revealed to the news outlet.

Rumors spread that Miley was dating producer Mike Will Made-It

This is where things get interesting. Rumors began to spread that Miley Cyrus was dating producer Mike Will Made-It, and it was later revealed in June 2014 that the two were officially an item. Mike Will Made-It worked closely with Cyrus on her 2013 album "Bangerz" and was even featured in her music video for the song "23."

A source confirmed the news to Us Weekly, revealing that the two were seeing one another on the down low, and that they were talking and texting each day. "Everybody in her circle knows they've been together this whole time," a source claimed. Although their relationship began soon after Cyrus called off her engagement with Liam Hemsworth, the source noted that her relationship with Mike Will Made-It was "pretty serious," and that Cyrus' mom Tish even loved him. "Tish says he's part of the family," the insider said.

Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus dated in 2015

By November 2014, Miley Cyrus had moved on with Patrick Schwarzenegger. According to Us Weekly, Schwarzenegger first reported having a crush on Cyrus back in May 2011, telling Details that "my eye ... is set on Miley." More than three years later, during one of Cyrus and Hemsworth's breakups, the singer got together with Schwarzenegger. They even attended a pre-Grammys party together in February 2015, looking dapper as ever.

However, things got a bit chaotic when Schwarzenegger was seen getting a bit too close to another female during a trip to Cabo (via Cosmopolitan). Schwarzenegger took to Twitter claiming it wasn't what it looked like, writing "Omg. It's one of my best friends girlfriend..." In another tweet, he wrote, "Would NEVER do anything against my GF..." and then wrote, "Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls..." but he was a little too late.

The couple split for good in April 2015 after just five months of being together. A source revealed to Us Weekly that Schwarzenegger's trip to Cabo, where the scandal began, took a major toll on their relationship. "At first, she was into him because she thought he was a nice guy," the insider claimed. However, Schwarzenegger was caught doing one too many body shots off of another girl, and it was all over. "She doesn't put up with crap from guys," another source revealed.

Stella Maxwell and Miley Cyrus were together the summer of 2015

Very shortly after her public breakup with Patrick Schwarzenegger, Miley Cyrus was spotted by TMZ kissing Victoria's Secret angel Stella Maxwell on the set of a Hollywood music video. According to E! News, the two first met through a mutual friend, Cheyne Thomas. Soon before Cyrus was seen with Maxwell, she opened up to Paper Magazine in June 2015 about her sexuality, saying "I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that's legal, I'm down with. Yo, I'm down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me" (via HuffPost).

Dating rumors spread when Cyrus was found on Maxwell's Instagram page in multiple posts, including this sweet moment of the two of them sharing a churro and chilling on top of giant dinosaurs. The two were even featured in a spicy photoshoot together for W Magazine alongside other celebrities and models. However, by August 2015, Cyrus confirmed to Elle UK that she is not in a relationship and that she identifies as pansexual. "I'm 22, I'm going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I'm with," she said. "I'm very open about it; I'm pansexual. But I'm not in a relationship."

Kaitlynn Carter and Miley Cyrus dated briefly in 2019

Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter were only together from August 2019 to September 2019, but their relationship moved fast. According to Cosmopolitan, the two were spotted hooking up with each other the exact same day Cyrus' rep went public confirming her official split from Liam Hemsworth. Prior to getting together with Cyrus, Carter also split from her ex-husband Brody Jenner. Cyrus and Carter's relationship was incredibly PDA-filled, including the time they were caught "basically having sex" at West Hollywood's Soho House.

"They were obsessed with each other. They couldn't keep their hands off each other," a source revealed to Page Six. "They were kissing and making out everywhere. In the bathroom, at the bar, in the middle of the floor. They were basically having sex. There's no question they're together." Not to mention, Cyrus even got a tattoo that many fans believed was a shout-out to an Italian vacation the couple took together.

By September 2019, the pair had officially moved in together. "They live together and are very happy," a source revealed to People. "Miley is doing great. She is moving on. She seems to have no regrets. She loves being with Kaitlynn." However, they eventually split that same month, but remained friends. "They've been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated, but they're just not in a romantic relationship anymore," an insider told People.

Miley was in a serious relationship with Cody Simpson

In October 2019, one month after her split with Kaitlynn Carter, Miley Cyrus was linked to singer Cody Simpson, and their relationship was red-hot. Simpson revealed in an interview with Fuse back in February 2012 that Cyrus was his celebrity crush, basically manifesting his future relationship with the singer. The couple was consistently caught in public PDA moments, and blessing our Instagram feeds with cute couple pictures over the course of their relationship (via Cosmopolitan). Let's not forget the fact that Simpson wrote a love poem and a song about Cyrus. And, according to Yahoo!, they even got matching tattoos.

Based on their Instagram posts, things seemed to be going really well for the couple. Unfortunately, Cyrus and Simpson split in August 2020 after 10 months together. Cyrus confirmed the breakup during an Instagram Live (via Cosmopolitan). "Two halves can't make a whole and we're individually just working on ourselves to become the people that we wanna be, like everybody else at this age," she said. "We are just deciding who we wanna be with our lives, what we wanna do with our lives, and so, don't make it some drama story if next week we're out hanging out, getting pizza."

Maxx Morando and Miley have been together since late 2021

Instead of jumping into another relationship after her split from singer Cody Simpson, Miley Cyrus decided to take some time for herself to focus on her music (via People). According to People, Cyrus and drummer Maxx Morando were first linked after they were spotted getting close at Miley's New Year's Eve party in December 2021 for NBC. Later, the two attended Gucci's Love Parade fashion show together.

According to Elle, Morando is known for playing drums in a rock band called The Regrettes between 2015 and 2018. In March 2022, Entertainment Tonight confirmed the two were officially together. "Miley and Maxx have been having a good time together," a source revealed. "They've been together for a little while and are just enjoying their relationship. Miley likes the fact that they are low-key as a couple and is just focused on doing her thing and being around people that make her happy, and Maxx does that."

In February 2022, the two even took a trip to Cabo for a romantic getaway, during which there was plenty of PDA moments. Although neither Cyrus nor Morando confirmed their relationship, a source told E! News that they are for sure together. "She's happily dating Maxx. It's official between them," the source said. "They are both artistic and creative, so they bond over being musicians."
