Bachelorette's Jed Wyatt Opens Up About His Breakup With Hannah Brown

In all of the drama surrounding the Season 15 finale of The Bachelorette and the chaos that followed, it's safe to say that hardly anyone sympathized with Jed Wyatt. He did, after all, lie about his motivations for joining the show and, whether or not he really did truly fall for Hannah Brown, it doesn't change the fact that their relationship was based on a lie.

Wyatt has stayed pretty quiet since the finale of The Bachelorette aired at the end of July, but he's finally talking about how the aftermath of the breakup has affected him. "I was kind of in a slump for a little while," he told People on September 7. "I couldn't really think about music to be honest, and that's usually my escape. Within the last two weeks, I've been trying to dial in and recollect my thoughts and goals. I feel motivated again and excited to start playing more," he said.

Wyatt's ex girlfriend, fellow musician Haley Stevens, threw a wrench in Jed and Hannah's happily ever after when she announced that he was still seeing her when he joined Season 15 of The Bachelorette, and that he had only gone on the show to promote his music career. "We spent the night together the night before he headed to L.A.," she told People in June. "He told me [the show] was just an obstacle and we'd be stronger on the other side because of it."

Hannah called off the engagement after the news broke, and asked out runner up Tyler Cameron in the season finale of The Bachelorette. While they did have one date, Tyler moved on to supermodel Gigi Hadid just days later.

Jed admitted that he hasn't paid too much attention to the drama that has ensued in the weeks following The Bachelorette finale, although he "had heard about it." At the end of the day, Jed says he hopes everyone is happy.

"I will continue to support [them] though I haven't paid too much attention to it," he said. "If everyone's happy, then that's what's good."
