What Laura-Leigh Has Been Up To Since Leaving Vanderpump Rules

Laura-Leigh is one of the most infamous characters in Vanderpump Rules history, in spite of only appearing briefly during the show's drama-filled debut season. After swooping in on legendary lothario Jax Taylor (who has since settled down and married cast-mate Brittany Cartwright), Laura-Leigh earned a name for herself as a bit of a troublemaker — particularly in the eyes of Taylor's most recent ex, Stassi Schroeder.

Laura-Leigh's biggest moment came when she enjoyed a little workplace rendezvous with Taylor in the SUR bathroom, shocking owner Lisa Vanderpump right to her sparkly pink core. Although Laura-Leigh clearly behaved inappropriately, Taylor wasn't a very good boyfriend to her, not just because he demonstrably wasn't over Schroeder at the time, but also due to Laura-Leigh's ongoing addiction issues. Clearly, Vanderpump Rules wasn't the place for her.

Laura-Leigh is a full-time actress now

Happily, since leaving the show, the ex-reality star, whose full name is Laura-Leigh Moser, has pursued her acting career full force. Her IMDb, which lists her as simply "Laura-Leigh," like Cher, is stacked. She's appeared in several movies over the past few years, including 2013's We're The Millers, opposite Jennifer Aniston, and 2018's Under the Silver Lake, opposite Andrew Garfield. On TV, she's starred in Blue Bloods opposite Bridget Moynahan and Tom Selleck, and had a recurring role on The Client List opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Funnily enough, when Laura-Leigh was leaving SUR, she proudly told Vanderpump about the We're The Millers role. She had every right to be confident, since Laura-Leigh's career began long before Vanderpump Rules. She appeared in Gossip Girl back in 2008 and Law and Order the following year, along with plenty more besides.

Vanderpump Rules still holds a place in Laura-Leigh's heart

Seeing how far Laura-Leigh has come is really heartening since, as she told Life and Style magazine, there was a time when coming out the other side didn't seem feasible. "I started drinking when I was twelve and then got into meth really heavily," she admitted, acknowledging she'd even stolen from her family in order to pay for drugs. These days, however, Laura-Leigh seems happy and healthy.

Her Instagram is filled with photos of the actress looking bright, often cuddling up to a sweet doggo named Halo. She even looks back fondly on her Vanderpump Rules stint. Funnily enough, Taylor himself sung her praises only recently, writing on Twitter last year, "She's an amazing actress just had a lot of other things in her life that needed to be worked out. They don't let just anyone in [Julliard]."
