The Absolute Worst Outfits Pam Bondi Wore During Her Short Year As Trump's Attorney General

Pam Bondi was officially removed as the U.S. attorney general on April 2, 2026, just shy of 14 months after she was sworn in the year prior. While she didn't have the job for a comparatively long time, she definitely made an impression on the public during her tenure and found herself getting plenty of hate as a result. Some of that contempt wasn't even political — some of it was over her wardrobe.

During her time in Donald Trump's administration, Bondi found herself surrounded by colleagues like denim-loving Kristi Noem and pinked-out White House Barbie Karoline Leavitt. As a result, her awful ensembles were often outshone by the even worse outfits all around her. Even so, she's definitely worn some inappropriate outfits and shown off some particularly yawn-inducing looks throughout her year as AG.

As such, could there be a better time to compile Bondi's worst fashion fails from her time as attorney general? After all, now that she's moving on to other things, perhaps she can leave her wardrobe mistakes behind. Or, at the very least, we're hopeful that she'll now have some time to find at least one article of clothing that is actually perfect for her color palette. Seriously, we're begging.

Bondi looked like a hairy chocolate bar in her Kennedy Center Honors dress

In December 2025, Pam Bondi accomplished a rare fashion achievement: She wore an outfit that was so boring it managed to steal the spotlight. Her head-to-toe brown look made her one of the worst-dressed guests at the 48th Kennedy Center Honors. From the color that completely washed her out to the silhouette that totally swallowed her up, nothing about this dress made Bondi shine. Except, however, for that literally shiny patch around the collar, which was just confusing and odd.

Pam Bondi may have borrowed her red puffy suit from Mrs. Claus

In September 2025, Mrs. Claus looked on as Donald Trump signed executive orders in the Oval Office. Oh, our mistake — that was actually Pam Bondi in a suit that seemed filled with the holiday spirit (despite the time of the year). A bright red suit with a white shirt underneath is already difficult to make work, but the puffy shoulders on this jacket gave the ensemble an even sillier vibe. The color and shape made the suit seem like a costume, and it just didn't feel fashion-forward.

Bondi's U.S. Open outfit reminded us of sticking Silly Putty on newspaper

For anyone who used to stick Silly Putty on a piece of newspaper in hopes of transferring the ink, then you may have thought of your childhood when looking at Pam Bondi's 2025 U.S. Open outfit. One look at Bondi's wardrobe shows that she seems to like stripes almost as much as she likes choosing colors that wash her out. This bubblegum pink hue definitely didn't make Bondi glow, and paired with the striped shirt and pants, it was an incongruous "blah" that felt out of place for the occasion.

Pam's leopard print belt completely clashed with her outfit

Leopard print is pretty fashionable at the moment, but leave it to Pam Bondi to show us exactly how not to rock this trend. In October 2025, she shared a video on Instagram that featured her wearing a black suit with a brown satin button-down shirt and a bold leopard print belt. The dark brown shirt definitely didn't work with her black suit, and while neutral, the color palette of the belt managed to make the whole thing clash even more.

Pam Bondi's oversized suit was scary movie material

In September 2025, Pam Bondi joined Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to celebrate Lindsey Halligan's swearing-in as the interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Bondi posed in a suit that looked a bit too wide for her, way too long for her, altogether too big for her, but perfect for Jack Skellington from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." The wide, high-contrast pinstripes looked cartoonish, and pairing the print with a suit that absolutely didn't fit made it even worse. Plus, the top she layered underneath it was a noticeably clashing shade of black.

Bondi made us dizzy with all those matching stripes

Pam Bondi's Jack Skellington outfit made us wish she'd give up pinstripes altogether. Somehow, though, it was neither her first nor her most egregious outfit with the design. In July 2025, she shared a photo on Instagram of herself with Kirk Moore, Mike Lee, and Marjorie Taylor Greene, but her big striped jacket was the star of the show. Bondi paired the black suit with wide stripes with a perfectly matching striped shirt for a complete overload of this unpleasant print. As if that wasn't enough, she wore a clashing gold belt way above her waist, like an awkward cherry on top of this ugly sundae.

Pam Bondi's boring State of the Union suit looked like a robe

Pam Bondi switched from her usual striped suits and awkward colors back to the land of bland in February 2026, finding herself on the worst-dressed list at the 2026 State of the Union address. Despite this suit being a bit different from her usual looks, it was still ill-fitting and in a color palette that left her washed out. She paired this beige suit with two shades of brown that clashed with each other — a lighter brown shirt and a bizarre brown double-belt she wore over the jacket. Bondi looked like she was either wearing a bathrobe or cosplaying as Luke Skywalker.
