Country singer Gabby Barrett is on the rise. In 2018, she finished third on the Season 16 of the singing competition series American Idol.
In January 2019, she independently released her song "I Hope" and it became the first debut single by a woman to top Billboard's Country Streaming Songs chart as well as the most-streamed Country song of 2020. Barrett also won a CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year for the song and a record deal with Warner Music Nashville.
Since signing with a record label, Barrett has released her debut album Goldmine, which debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and helped the songstress set another impressive record. Barrett also holds the title for the largest opening streaming week for a debut country album by a woman. In addition to setting new standards with her music, Barrett is receiving critical acclaim for her vast talent.

In 2020, Gabby Barrett was named Billboard's Top New Country Artist, one of Amazon Music's Breakthrough artist, was included in Variety's 2020 Power of Young Hollywood List and even appeared in Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Music List, per Billboard.
Barrett was also named the 2021 ACM New Female Artist of the Year. The ACM Awards Twitter account shared a sweet video message on April 8 that shows Barrett's reaction to winning the coveted award, which was virtually presented to her by this year's host, Keith Urban. After a few much-deserved screams, the singer says, "This is unbelievable. Thank you so much. This is such an honor. Ever since I came into the country music community, everyone's been absolutely wonderful to me...This made the whole year for me."
Barrett was even named "The Face of Gen-Z Country" by the music publication HITS, via The Country Note. With all these accolades, it makes perfect sense that the rising star has a grown a small fortune. Net Worth Planet reports that Barrett is currently worth $1 million dollars. However, considering Barrett is still in the early stages of her career, that number is sure to increase exponentially.
