These Are The Leading Men Who Will Return For The SATC Reboot

The "Sex and the City" reboot is shaping up to have a very exciting cast, with the news that Sara Ramírez is set to play Che Diaz, a nonbinary comedian and podcast host. Of course, the biggest casting news to come out of "And Just Like That" is that the fourth original character, Samantha, played by Kim Cattrall, will not be part of the story. Meanwhile, as Carrie would say, we couldn't help but wonder which leading men will join Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon when we drop in on where their characters are today.

Well, it may come as no surprise that given Cattrall's absence, her previous love interest, Smith Jerrod, played by Jason Lewis, is not reprising his role. Hollywood Life reports we don't yet know if Evan Handler, who plays Davis' character Charlotte's husband Harry, is not confirmed for the reboot.

But as Page Six reports, the other "SATC" guys we know and love will be appearing in the reboot, playing the love interests of Carrie and Miranda.

Three men from Sex and the City are back for the reboot

Chris Noth, who plays Big, A.K.A. John James Preston, and Carrie's husband, is confirmed to return for "And Just Like That" according to Page Six. Meanwhile, as Daily Mail reports, we will "definitely see... Aidan and Steve" as well. So that means what? Carrie may have two men in her life, with John Corbett playing her ex, Aidan Shaw? Gah! Meanwhile, it seems Steve, Miranda's husband, played by David Eigenberg, is still in her life.

It's worth noting it's been a minute since we last caught up with the "SATC" ladies, so we do not know exactly where their stories have evolved since the second movie came out in 2010 (via IMDb). As Harper's Bazaar reports, "And Just Like That" will "navigate the reality of life and friendship in their 50s."

So, is Carrie still with Big? Or has she rekindled her feelings for Aidan? Are Miranda and Steve still together after surviving a rough patch in the first "Sex and the City" movie? And what about Charlotte and Harry? Guess we'll have to wait to get the answers to these, and other burning questions, when the reboot airs on HBO Max at a later date.
