Celebrity baby announcements are always exciting for fans. When your favorite star reveals that they're set to welcome a new little bundle of joy into the world, it's hard to resist wondering what the baby will look like or if the star will give their child a unique name. Meanwhile, some of the most exciting celebrity baby announcements have been of former "Glee" star Darren Criss, longtime loves Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Olivia Munn and John Mulaney. Scarlett Johansson gave birth to a baby boy

"Black Widow" star Scarlett Johansson delighted fans when she and her husband, "Saturday Night Live" star Colin Jost, welcomed their first child together in August 2021 (via Page Six). The little bundle of joy joined his big sister Rose, whom Johansson shares with her former husband Romain Dauriac.

Johansson and Jost were very quiet about the pregnancy and birth. However, Jost did confirm the birth and sex of the baby via his Instagram account. "Ok ok we had a baby," the comedian wrote. "His name is Cosmo. We love him very much. Privacy would be greatly appreciated," he added.

James Van Der Beek welcomed his sixth child

Former "Dawson's Creek" star James Van Der Beek is a busy dad. He and his wife, Kimberly, had already had five children when they welcomed their newest family member, a baby boy and fans couldn't be happier for the actor, per Us Weekly.

"Humbled and overjoyed to announce the safe, happy arrival of Jeremiah Van Der Beek," the "Dancing With The Stars" alum announced via social media. Van Der Beek also admitted that he and his wife opted to keep the pregnancy private after experiencing two late-term pregnancy losses in the past.

Thomas Rhett announced his fourth daughter

Country music superstar Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins announced the arrival of their fourth daughter, Carolina, in mid-November 2021. The new addition joined her three big sisters — Willa, Ada, and Lennon — making the singer the ultimate girl dad (via Us Weekly).

"I love doing their hair, and I love playing the Barbies with them, whatever they want me to do, tea parties. It's just been awesome to get to be a dad of ... beautiful girls," he said back in 2019.

Lance Bass welcomed twins via surrogate

Lance Bass and his husband Michael Turchin announced that they were proud parents of twins, which were born via surrogate on October 13 (via People). The former *NSYNC member took to Instagram to share the news, revealing that his children, Violet Betty and Alexander James had arrived.

"The baby dragons have arrived!!" the singer wrote. "I can not express how much love I feel right now. Thank you for all the kind wishes. It meant a lot. Now, how do you change a diaper??! Ahhhhhhhh!"

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed daughter Lilibet Diana

In June 2021, the newest royal baby was born when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the birth of their daughter, Lilibet Diana. Lilibet was named for her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and her late grandmother Princess Diana (via Harper's Bazaar).

"On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we've felt from across the globe," the couple said in a statement.
