These TikTok-Approved E.l.f. Makeup Dupes Are Spot-On

When the beauty community comes together, it's a great place to be. While there are tons of videos floating around filled with people's favorite products, or new and exciting launches, dupe videos might be the best of all. Not only do they help you find hidden gems, like must-have products for a natural look, but they also save you a whole lot of money. Especially when those dupes come from one of the most affordable brands out there — e.l.f. Cosmetics.

TikTok is filled with tons of e.l.f. Cosmetics dupes that rank right up there with high-end items. The brand is known for having items priced between $5 to $10, and it turns out some of them are good enough to be worth much more than that. "I'm convinced most of ELFs revenue is put back into paying spies that work at all these other expensive makeup lines," one TikTok comment reads.

We're not just talking one or two inexpensive alternatives. It turns out that there are whole lot of affordable e.l.f. Cosmetics dupes for high-end items out there. Get ready to stuff your makeup bag to the brim for less.

Power Grip Primer is a dupe for Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer

Let's start with one of the first makeup items you use in your routine, shall we? According to Simonet on TikTok, e.l.f. Cosmetics' Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer is an exact substitute for Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer. The consistency and the stay-all-day formulas are a match made in dupe heaven.

This product isn't just going viral on TikTok, either. People are saying the same thing on Instagram as well. "So glad to find an affordable dupe for the Milk Hydro Grip," Instagram user @kaylarobideaux said. "I just tried the Mint Primer & love it!" Oh, and it's a whopping $6.40 on the e.l.f. Cosmetics website. That's compared to $34 for Milk Makeup's product.

Rumor has it that the e.l.f. Cosmetics' Power Grip Primer is also a pretty great alternative to the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip as well. So, if you're not into the cooling effect of the other product, this would be the one to try.

Sheer Slick Lipstick in Black Cherry is a Clinique Black Honey dupe

Remember the viral lipstick that magically transforms into your perfect berry shade? According to Newsweek, e.l.f. Cosmetics' Black Cherry Sheer Slick is an exact dupe for Clinique's Black Honey Lipstick. Oh, and it's a fraction of the price.

For those of you that might not remember, Clinique's Black Honey Lipstick basically broke the internet. The shade looks extremely dark in the tube, but goes on in your perfect shade. It was extraordinary, really. No one had seen anything like it — until e.l.f. Cosmetics created its own version.

As Newsweek pointed out, the Clinique shade went viral on TikTok and then was sold out everywhere. The shade is still sells out at most major retailers, several months after it took the popular app by storm. Thankfully, e.l.f. Cosmetics' Black Cherry lipstick is available right now for just $6, as opposed to $20 for the Clinique product. You really can have it all.

Putty Blush is a dupe for NARS' Air Matte Blush

Ready for your new favorite blush? According for TikTok user @beautyforeverybody, e.l.f. Cosmetics' Putty Blush is a dupe for NARS' Air Matte Blush. While the formula is super similar, e.l.f. Cosmetics actually has more color options as well. All for — get this — just $6. Pinch yourself, because this is not a dream.

If all that wasn't already enough, you're also getting more product with the e.l.f. Cosmetics option as well. While NARS gives you 0.21 ounces, e.l.f. Cosmetics weighs in at 0.35, according to Amazon.

There's even a special brush designed for the Putty Blush, so you can get the most flawless application possible. The Putty Blush and the Putty Blush Brush costs a total of $10 all together — $6 for the blush, and $4 for the brush. Compare that to $30 for just the NARS' Air Matte Blush alone, and we'd say the dupe is definitely worth a try.

Halo Glow Setting Powder is a dupe for Hourglass' Mini Veil

If a new setting powder is on your radar, put your wallet away, because you can buy one of the best with your spare change. It turns out that e.l.f. Cosmetics' Halo Glow Setting Powder is a dupe for Hourglass' Mini Veil Setting Powder (via TikTok). The e.l.f. powder is $8, which is a hell of a deal when compared to the alternative, which rings up at $22.

While that price doesn't seem like much, it really is incredible when you consider how much product you're getting. The Hourglass product gives you just 0.07 ounces while the e.l.f. setting powder is 0.24 ounces (via Ulta). That's over three times the amount of product, people!

The TikTok user who originally posted about the dupe does say that while Hourglass has a completely translucent product, there is a slight color to the e.l.f. Cosmetics' product. While there is a noticeable difference, it's definitely worth trying if you're trying to stay on budget.

There is light creasing in my smile lines but that happens with any foundation or concealer I use."
