The Love Is Blind Drama With Nick Lachey Is Far From Over

As a host of a reality TV show, it can feel almost impossible to hold your tongue at times. It's your job to remain composed, neutral, and entirely unbiased. This job can get even harder when you get caught in the crossfire between fighting cast mates. When Vanessa and Nick Lachey first began their role as the hosts of Netflix's "Love is Blind" it seemed to all be smooth sailing. They themselves were a married couple, and it seemed only natural for them to help guide these newly engaged couples through their time on the show.

The first season of "Love is Blind" was a huge success, despite only resulting in two successful couples that remain married to this day, according to Independent. Fans were eager to binge-watch the new second season of the show, and they were definitely given enough drama to make it worth the wait. Also resulting in two successful couples, the rest of the cast of Season 2 didn't have quite the smooth ride. This season upped the anti and delivered not one, but two love triangles between Natalie, Shayne, and Shaina as well as Jarrette, Iyanna, and Mallory, per Entertainment Weekly

Once the season concluded, fans were left on the edge of their seat eagerly-anticipating the reunion episode. They need to know who was still together, what Shayne said to Natalie in that fight, and most importantly they wanted to watch the show's self-proclaimed villain Shake Chatterjee be held accountable for his actions, but they never could have imagined hosts Vanessa and Nick would lead that charge.

Shake calls out Nick on Instagram

Shake Chatterjee rubbed just about every last viewer the wrong way, including his cast mates. His shallow and offensive comments about ex-fiancé and fan favorite Deepti Vempati left everyone in a fit of blind rage, and the reunion was finally time for him to take some accountability, according to Insider. Shake actually used this opportunity to stand by every last thing he said, call the show a terrible concept, and offend just about everyone sat on the couches with him, per High Snobiety. As if his attitude and interruptions weren't enough, Shake sealed the deal when he attempted to hit on Vanessa Lachey

During a rant about how important physical attraction is, Shake claimed the only woman on stage he was attracted to was Vanessa. A stunned Nick Lachey was clearly in shock at the comment and held his tongue while Shake continued to claim, "It's nature, baby. We're animals." To which Nick finally snapped, "No, you treat animals, we're human beings." Shake was clearly silenced in shock at the comment and claimed it offensive to the veterinary community. But he wasn't quite done there...

After the reunion aired, Shake took to Instagram in a now-deleted post to attack Nick, "@Nicklachey you're a massive t*** for your comment dragging vets," per People. Shake concluded by taking one final dig, "Also consider learning how to be an impartial host before the season 3 reunion airs. Sorry I didn't play along with your narrative like the rest of these puppets. Say hi to @vanessalachey for me."
