Andrew Walker is one of Hallmark's most familiar faces. Since his first movie with the network in 2012, he's been working steadily as an actor, writer, and executive producer. At the time of writing, he has starred in over 30 Hallmark movies.

In a 2019 interview with Lolly Christmas, Walker reflected on his lengthy Hallmark career and emphasized that he loves the network's reliability, as well as working with the cast and crew because of the respectful workplace culture on set. He's a fan favorite for a good reason! Walker is perfect for a network like Hallmark that prides itself on family-friendly movies with familiar tropes baked in.

Several of Andrew Walker's movies are perfect for a girls' night in, and because of his huge back catalog, there's plenty of moods to choose from. So whether you want a romance, a comedy, something mysterious, some royal flair, or something seasonally appropriate, you really can't go wrong with any of his works.

A Bride for Christmas

In 2012, Andrew Walker starred in his first Hallmark movie alongside Arielle Kebbel. Oddly enough, it was a fairly dark movie that landed Walker his first Hallmark role: a courtroom drama in which he plays a particularly despicable villain. But his role in "Steel Toes" couldn't be further from that of "A Bride for Christmas."

In the latter, Walker plays the charming and single Aiden, who meets Kebbel's Jessie, who has decided she's done with relationships after calling off her third engagement. Aiden has a bet with friends that he can convince someone to marry him by Christmas (just four weeks away), and he hires Jessie to decorate his apartment. They're supported by Kimberley Sustad as Kebbel's sister and Sage Brocklebank as ex-fiancé Mike.

With romance, feel-good vibes, and great chemistry between Walker and Kebbel, Walker seems to have knocked it out of the park on his Hallmark debut. The added Christmas fun makes "A Bride for Christmas" the perfect rom-com to watch with girlfriends during the festive season.

Kentucky Roses

Since 2012, Andrew Walker has made a name as a Hallmark Channel heavyweight. He has starred in many Hallmark movies and does not show signs of slowing down anytime soon. In his 2026 Hallmark outing, "Kentucky Roses," Walker plays Ash, the son of the CEO of Churchill Downs (home of the Kentucky Derby). He stars opposite Odette Annable, who plays Sadie, a local greenhouse worker, and together they try to save the famous Kentucky Derby rose blanket, which is draped over the derby's winning horse. Sadie is an aspiring florist who dreams of designing the rose blanket, and Ash has been called home to oversee stable repairs — and when the two meet, fireworks literally go off.

What makes the movie perfect for a girls' night in is not just the love story between Ash and Sadie, but the romantic historical backstory between their relatives, Gloria and Charlie. According to Annable (via TV Insider), "It all felt very full circle, just leaning into that multi-generational love story, which feels very timeless. And also absolutely grown-up for Hallmark, which gave us so many textures to play."

Merry & Bright

Hallmark doesn't shy away from movies that center the rivals-to-lovers (or enemies-to-lovers) trope, and in 2019, the network did it again with the Christmas movie "Merry & Bright," which stars Andrew Walker as Gabe and Jodie Sweetin as Cate. The story follows Cate as the CEO of a candy cane company in financial difficulty — enter Gabe, a corporate recovery specialist who she quickly mistakes for the suitor her mom is trying to set her up with. The two begin working together to improve Gabe's business, and realize they have more in common than just sound business sense.

Launched for the winter holiday season in 2019, Walker discovered during the release of "Merry & Bright" that another Christmas Hallmark movie he starred in, "Christmas On My Mind," was being premiered at the same time. For a girls' night in, it might even be worth doing a double feature if you and your friends are feeling particularly festive, or if any of you just really want to watch two Walker Christmas movies back-to-back.

Love on Ice

If you're looking for an Andrew Walker movie for a girls' night in during winter but you don't necessarily want anything Christmas-themed, the obvious choice is 2017's "Love on Ice," starring Walker as Spencer and Julie Berman as Emily. Spencer is a young skating coach who sees potential in Emily, a former skater who's aged out of the sport. Spencer is determined to get her back in the spotlight, and romance naturally develops between coach and skater.

"Love on Ice" is generally well liked by fans, with several praising its wholesome, heartwarming story — and it seems Walker had a great time making the movie. "It was great playing coach. I've always wanted to coach," Walker told TV Goodness. "We were in a rink or arena for 10 of the 15 [shooting] days and it was freezing. Fortunately I knew how to skate." For anyone who's ever harbored dreams of being a figure skater, "Love on Ice" is a sweet way to share it with friends.

Sweet Autumn

If you're in the mood for a candy-themed Andrew Walker movie for your girls' night in, look no further than a big helping of "Sweet Autumn" (2020). In this one, Walker plays maple farmer Dex, starring opposite Nikki DeLoach, who portrays Maggie, an entrepreneur. There's a lot to learn about Walker and DeLoach's longtime friendship, but in "Sweet Autumn," their characters must work together to find out why Maggie's Aunt Dee split her famed candy shop between them following her passing. Centered around their town's Sweet Autumn festival, the two follow a trail of letters to get their answers.

"Sweet Autumn" was a special one for Walker and DeLoach, who filmed the movie amid COVID-19 lockdowns and measures. According to DeLoach, "you'd get temperature checks every day when you get to set. Andrew and I are tested several times a week. They really did do [everything], and I'm so grateful," (via People). It seems that "Sweet Autumn", their third movie together, only deepened Walker and DeLoach's friendship — which just makes it an even sweeter viewing experience.

Wedding Planner Mystery

Some Hallmark movie plots are darker and more tragic than others. In 2014's "Wedding Planner Mystery," Erica Durance plays wedding planner Carnegie Kincaid, who is charged with planning two weddings for prominent local families. When a bridesmaid's murder and the bride's kidnapping occur, the whole affair falls apart. Carnegie ends up being pursued by shady news reporter Aaron Gold (Andrew Walker). As if that wasn't enough, the police suspect Carnegie of the crimes.

It seems that making "Wedding Planner Mystery" was just as fun as watching it. Speaking to TV Goodness about his first day on set, Walker said: "I love the unknown, so [that] was probably the most fun because it was all of us on set for the first time together. Getting to know them as people and seeing how our characters transform on the day [was great]." "Wedding Planner Mystery" is one of Hallmark's cozy mystery movies that's perfect for the darker, colder parts of the year. Add in some candles, snuggly blankets, and good friends, and you've got another Walker movie perfect for a night in.

Love in Design

A perfect Hallmark romance involves two characters being thrown together, and it's especially delicious if they have history. This is exactly what you get with "Love in Design," which stars Danica McKellar as Hannah, a home-makeover TV star tasked with renovating an historical manor in her New England hometown. Her ex-boyfriend Jeff, Andrew Walker, is assigned to her project to make sure the manor's history is preserved. The two are forced to get along if they want to make the project work in a way that suits them both.

McKellar hasn't aged a day since leaving Hallmark. In 2018, she was a Hallmark leading lady, while Walker was steadily building his profile; the role, along with his work as a movie developer on "Love In Design," was a pivotal career moment. Speaking to MediaVillage, Walker said: "I'm a huge fan of DIY shows. A friend of mine and I came up with the idea for this movie about two years ago. I was immediately intrigued." For any DIY or home-improvement fans, "Love in Design" is a perfect gentle watch.

Bridal Wave

Andrew Waller starred opposite Arielle Kebbel, who has undergone a stunning transformation, in his first Hallmark movie, and in 2015, they reunited in "Bridal Wave." Kebbel plays Georgie, a woman who grows increasingly unsure about marrying her fiancé as the big day approaches. Their lack of passion and disapproval from her future mother-in-law only make her chance encounter with handsome former architect Luke (Andrew Walker) feel even more thrilling. When the inevitable chemistry develops between Georgie and Luke, she is forced to make a choice that will affect the rest of her life.

Leaving your fiancé at the altar doesn't scream coziness at first glance, but "Bridal Wave" features a good dose of destination romance and a search for true love, which is perfect for a girls' night in. Kebbel even experienced some of this perfection when reuniting with Walker. "I spoke on the phone with director Michael Scott and he said 'great, we know we don't need a chemistry read,'"(via TV Goodness).

Love Struck Café

"Love Struck Café" (2017) leading lady Sarah Jane Morris has nothing but praise for co-star Andrew Walker. "Working with Andrew was a blast. There were so many scenes together that I could not just pick one," she told StarryMag. With long hours on the titular café set, the two stars play former sweethearts Megan and Joe. Megan is an aspiring architect working on a big project in her hometown that has negatively affected her former mentor, all while helping out at her family's café after her father's injury. Joe is the childhood sweetheart who broke her heart, adding even more worry to Megan's already full plate.

Hallmark is no stranger to brewing tension between co-stars, and "Love Struck Café" is a particularly delicious example. It doesn't matter that movie conventions mean they'll fall in love in the end, because it's still fun to watch Morris and Walker at odds. One reviewer on IMDb even praised "Love Struck Café" as a "better than average Hallmark film, with some lovely points made about 1st love, change and staying true to your beliefs."

My Secret Valentine

There's no better time for love and romance than Valentine's Day, but this Hallmark movie is also perfect for Galentine's Day. In "My Secret Valentine," Hallmark Queen Lacey Chabert stars as Chloe, a woman who communicates with her mysterious tenant through notes written on a chalkboard. Andrew Walker plays slick sales rep Seth, who wants to buy Chloe's family winery — and there seems to be a connection between Seth and the mysterious tenant that Chloe hasn't yet worked out.

While Chabert has hinted that she doesn't remember the plots of all of her Hallmark flicks, fans seem happy overall with "My Secret Valentine." Several viewers have praised its dialogue, sweet romance, and both Chabert and Walker. One IMDb reviewer wrote, "Lacey keeps claiming her title, every year, as the 'Queen' of Hallmark. And Andrew W. Walker is definitely one of the favorites (mine included) so I'm really glad they finally got to co-star in this one together."

The 27-Hour Day

One perk of a girls' night in is the relaxation and entertainment it offers. In 2021's "The 27-Hour Day," Autumn Reeser plays Lauren, an entrepreneur who is in dire need of a better work-life balance. When she realizes it's easier said than done, Lauren heads off on a relaxing retreat, only to get caught up in a new romance with Jack (Andrew Walker). Viewers might even find watching someone else take time off work relaxing; in fact, some reviews have praised the movie's lessons about overreliance on work.

One IMDb reviewer wrote, "[The movie] does an excellent job showing how our reliance on technology for efficient work and play can lead to a robotic way of living, and how a balance between work commitment is required with personal emotional commitments." "The 27-Hour Day" also boasts a cute piglet companion, so animal lovers won't want to miss this one.

The Reluctant Royal

In 2025's "The Reluctant Royal," Walker plays Johnny, a mechanic from Philadelphia who is more than shocked to discover that his long-lost father is a duke, rather than just an ordinary guy. However, when Walker meets the duke, he's not what he expected, and to complicate matters, he begins falling for the duke's advisor, Prudence, played by Emilie de Ravin.

While "The Reluctant Royal" is still a romance at its core, it definitely leans more comedic than some other Hallmark movies — something Walker has even commented on. "It was such a great experience and a lot of fun. The movie is a bit of a comedy that reminds me of 'Three Wiser Men and a Boy," he told Full Access Magazine. "The Reluctant Royal" is de Ravin's first Hallmark movie; she was previously cast on the cult hit "Lost."

Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate

Another Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach team-up, 2022's "Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate" sees the two of them in the first of a new Hallmark Mysteries series. Now five movies strong, the first "Curious Caterer" sees DeLoach as Colorado caterer Goldy Berry, who teams up with Walker's detective Tom Schultz to find out exactly how her friend was murdered by investigating the ingredients in her last meal. Together, the two find a recipe for murder.

Over the years, DeLoach has worked with many of Hallmark's leading men, but she's been clear that Walker is her favorite; as she explained, "he's like a brother to me," via Woman's World. The chemistry between DeLoach and Walker has been praised in several reviews, and one IMDb reviewer wrote, "I love the Nikki/Andrew pairing and know their movies have done well with ratings in the past. Hoping to see more movies [in] this series in the future!" Because "Curious Caterer" is a series, there's plenty more DeLoach and Walker action to be enjoyed, so if you're planning a girls' night, there's a whole marathon of cozy mysteries to enjoy.

Curious Caterer: Grilling Season

A movie marathon is a perfect idea for a girls' night in, and if you loved the first "Curious Caterer" mystery, then it's a no-brainer to move right on to the second. 2023's "Curious Caterer: Grilling Season" once again stars Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach in another Hallmark dream-team match-up, and DeLoach picks up where her character Goldy left off by reuniting with Walker's Detective Schultz. While planning a lavish barbecue event for her childhood friend Susie, a prominent realtor, Goldy is shocked to find that Susie has been murdered by an exploding grill. This puts her reputation at risk, so she and Detective Schultz parse through party gossip, manipulative guests, and dark secrets to find out who murdered Susie.

The thrilling mystery and fatal circumstances of "Grilling Season" are perfect for a spooky season meet-up. If the first two aren't enough entertainment for one evening, the following three movies: "Fatal Vows," "Foiled Plans," and "Forbidden Fruit" will make your night even more perfect. There's even (finally) a dash of romance between Walker and DeLoach if you make it to "Forbidden Fruit," which sees their characters go on their first date together.

Three Wise Men and a Baby

Before it spawned a sequel in 2024, "Three Wise Men and a Baby" was a big hit with Hallmark Christmas movie fans, so much so that it was basic cable's most-watched movie of 2022. It follows three brothers, played by Hallmark juggernauts Paul Campbell, Andrew Walker, and Tyler Hynes, who find a baby left on their doorstep just before Christmas. They must work together to take care of the little guy over the holidays, and what ensues is cookie-baking shenanigans and big lessons in love and family abound, making the movie an instant Christmas classic.

Campbell, Hynes, and Walker revealed to The List why their on-set chemistry is so rare. According to Campbell, the three used to just 'hang out' at lunch on set, and invented a cute little dance together. "We came up with that ridiculous dance in between bites of chicken and broccoli," he told The List. "But it was just us hanging out, being silly that made all of these moments so magical." The three stars definitely have the magic of a real friendship, so it's really perfect for a night with the girls.
