The Truth About Tiffany Trump And Michael Boulos' Relationship
Tiffany Trump momentarily stole her father's thunder just as the president was preparing to leave the White House for good. Trump's youngest daughter announced on Instagram that she was engaged to boyfriend Michael Boulos with a photo of the two of them standing in the hallowed halls of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. "It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House," Trump began.
She nonchalantly added, "none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael!" Trump acknowledged the ending of her father's tenure in the White House by noting, "Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!" Of all the presidential children, she's arguably the least public-facing. The glamorous young lady's engagement, then, came as something of a surprise. But eagle-eyed fans will know she and Boulos have been a thing for a little while now.
The couple was first linked in late 2018
Businessman Boulos re-shared his fiancé's post to his own Instagram account, gushing alongside it, "Got engaged to the love of my life! Looking forward to our next chapter together." As the New York Times notes, Boulos is four years younger than Trump. His wealthy family is based in Nigeria, though Boulos grew up in Lagos before moving to London for college. Conglomerate Boulos Enterprises assembles and sells motors and equipment for power vehicles like motorcycles as well as the bikes themselves.
Page Six confirmed the two were dating in November 2018, after meeting while in Mykonos, Greece following Trump's split from boyfriend Ross Mechanic just a few months prior. Boulos joined her family at Mar-a-Lago for Thanksgiving, with an insider advising the couple was keeping things very private, although the billionaire heir reportedly went down a treat with the extended Trump family.
Michael Boulos has approval from Tiffany Trump's family
As Town and Country notes, Trump and Boulos were good friends prior to things turning romantic. "I adore Michael!" Marla Maples gushed of her daughter's man. The couple went Instagram official in January 2019, posing in front of the White House Christmas tree together. In December 2019, Boulos' parents joined the Trumps for the holiday season, as per a shot posted on her Instagram, signaling things were getting serious. Evidently, the young couple seamlessly integrated into each other's lives.
Both come from wealthy families and are equally ambitious in their careers. Trump recently completed her studies at Georgetown Law while Boulos has two degrees under his belt; one in project management finance and risk, from City University London, and another in business management, from the city's Regent's University. "They are both dedicated to their studies and are really supportive of each other's career aspirations," an insider confirmed. Clearly these two are committed to each other in more ways than one.
