  • Lora Lynn has been writing publicly online for 18 years. She began as a "mommy blogger" and leveraged that to write for several lifestyle blogs, including The Art of Simple and The Design Mom.
  • A writing teacher for 10 years, Lora Lynn explored a wide variety of topics with her students and honed her research and writing skills while editing literally thousands of essays and projects.
  • She currently serves as program manager and editor for a national non-profit platform.

Experience

Lora Lynn started tapping out stories about her kids back in the Mommy-blogger heyday and hasn't stopped tapping. Her kids have grown up and forbidden her to write any more stories about them, so Lora Lynn turned to write for The Art of Simple, Design Mom, Radical, and now Static Media. She contributed to the published anthology "The Mother Letters" by Amber C. Haines and has also written two novels she hopes to publish one day. All of this writing launched Lora Lynn into a teaching career where she shepherded the next generation of dreamers, authors, and thinkers for 12 years. Now she serves as program manager and managing editor of Every Teacher, Every Day, a non-profit platform for teachers.

Education

Lora Lynn studied history and political science at the University of Mary Washington. To support her love of history further, she worked in several museums as a docent all through college, which means she loves telling a good story, especially if it's about the royals, across any century.
