- Every year Kahmeela is committed to rewatching the entire Saw franchise and will continue to ride this train until the actual final stop.
- After watching Psycho in the 6th grade, Kahmeela fell in love with all things film, in particular horror. As a mental escape artist, it only made sense to want to immerse herself in fictional worlds for a couple of hours at a time.

Kahmeela has been called a "pop culture savant" with particular expertise in all things '80s and '90s. After producing and hosting several podcasts dedicated to film and telling stories of women and artists of all mediums, she consistently brings delight and discovery to the art of the interview — just ask Chazz Palminteri. Kahmeela has designed a career that allows her to create in multiple areas of media. Her opinions on life, film and literature can be found on many podcasts, in the Pittsburgh City Paper, Pittsburgh magazine and BUST Magazine, just to name a few.
Education
Kahmeela started her college journey studying Broadcast Communications at The University of Toledo. She soon decided that she needed an education that was more dedicated to the art of film and video production, so she transferred to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Being an avid reader and learner, Kahmeela continues to find ways of gaining more knowledge in her field as well as others.
