Inside Justin Bieber's Relationship With His Famous Exes

Justin Bieber has been the talk of the tabloids for the past decade, and the public has always watched his every move — including who he goes out with and who he's dating. After rekindling his romance in June 2018 with model Hailey Baldwin (now Hailey Bieber), shortly after breaking up with on-again, off-again longtime love Selena Gomez (via Insider), the pair quickly got engaged and secretly married in a courthouse wedding in September of the same year.

In March this year, Hailey opened up about the couple's intense and passionate relationship in an interview with Elle — including getting married at such a young age — telling the outlet, "I mean, I was married when I was 21, two months before I turned 22, which is insanely young. And sounds almost ridiculous when you say it out loud. Although I do think for somebody like me and somebody like Justin, [it's different]. We've seen a lot for our age. We have both lived enough life to know that's what we wanted."

Before marrying Hailey, though, Bieber had his fair share of high-profile romances with models, reality stars, actresses, and more. From Selena Gomez and Sofia Richie to some of the most well-known models in the industry, we're taking a look back at Bieber's relationships with his famous exes.

Justin Bieber has a history of hopping from model to model

From early on, Justin Bieber had his eyes set on some of the most beautiful gals in the industry, including Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, who the Biebs reportedly got "very close with" after the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2012. Kerr, who was married to "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor Orlando Bloom at the time, has long since denied rumors that the pair ever slept together, but according to TMZ, Bloom never believed her, and the couple not-so-suspiciously called it quits the following year.

To add fuel to the fire, in 2014, Bloom and Bieber ran into each other in Ibiza at Italian restaurant Cipriani — which was reportedly "packed" with celebs like P. Diddy and Paris Hilton (via TMZ) — and Bloom threw a punch at Bieber after he allegedly told the "Lord of the Rings" alum something along the lines of "I had sex with your wife." A few months prior, Bloom had been spotted hanging out with Bieber's ex Selena Gomez, which likely didn't help the situation at hand.

Miranda Kerr isn't the only model Bieber's been with

In November 2012 — just one month after the Miranda Kerr rumors hit the tabloids — Justin Bieber was linked to model Barbara Palvin after a photo of them backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show surfaced (via Insider). The pair were also spotted attending a performance of "The Lion King" on Broadway together; however, Palvin insisted that Bieber simply helped her and her sister score tickets to the show, and he and a group of friends joined them for the performance. "[And] his friends came ... like six people and then me, my sister and agent. So [we're] friends," she told Celebuzz (via Insider) in an exclusive interview in 2013.

Bieber has also been linked to model Yovanna Ventura, who he was spotted getting flirty with on the Venice boardwalk in 2014. "Justin seemed very relaxed and happy," an insider told E! News at the time, adding, "Their relationship is flourishing. I wouldn't be surprised if they started dating." Ventura also made multiple appearances on Bieber's Instagram, which further fueled romance rumors between the youngsters.

In March 2015, Bieber was linked to model Ashley Moore after they got cozy during a Los Angeles Clippers game, and in August, he was also linked to British model Jayde Pierce after they were spotted on multiple outings together. However, Pierce insisted that the pair were "just friends" (via the Daily Mirror), even though they were spotted on vacay together in Bora Bora in October.

Rumor has it Justin Bieber dated Kendall Jenner and hooked up with her older sister, Kourtney

After Bieber and longtime pal Kendall Jenner appeared in a Vogue photo shoot together in 2015, rumors that the pair were an item began to run rampant throughout young Hollywood; however, in an interview with Billboard in November of the same year, Bieber revealed that their relationship was "nothing serious," prompting fans to believe that the famous friends were actually a couple at some point.

The "Love Yourself" singer was also rumored to have hooked up with Jenner's big sis, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and Poosh creator, Kourtney Kardashian, the same year. The pair first got the rumor mill swirling after they were spotted leaving Hollywood hot spot, The Nice Guy, together in October 2015, then heading to Universal Studios Hollywood Horror Nights together with a group of friends (via ET).

Bieber and Kardashian's alleged hookups gave him a much-needed ego boost at the time

"He has had a huge ego boost from hooking up with Kourt. It's been going on for a few months," an insider shared with People. "He is used to being swooned by young girls that have nothing else going on. Kourt is a hot mom with a career. He more thought, 'Wow,' and couldn't believe that she would go for him. He brags about how hot she is. He is happy while it lasts. Even if she is using him to get back at Scott, he couldn't care less."

Justin Bieber addressed the rumors in December 2015 during an appearance on syndicated radio show, "The Bert Show," hosted by Bert Weiss (via People). "I'm being used, man. What can I say?" Bieber said, prompting Weiss to ask, "Anything there?" to which the singer responded, "Nah, we'll leave it at that. No, no, but for real, she's great. I've known [the family] for years."

Justin Bieber and Nicola Peltz were spotted on multiple dates in 2016

Justin Bieber and "Transformers" actress Nicola Peltz, who's currently engaged to photographer and model Brooklyn Beckham, fueled romance rumors after the pair were spotted out on multiple dates in May and June 2016. "The two have been chatting for a bit now," an insider shared with Us Weekly. "He's really into her. Justin flew her to Toronto to show her around Canada," the source continued, adding that the pair were thoroughly enjoying their sleepovers together.

Another source spilled details about one of their first dates — miniature golfing — to ET, telling the outlet, "Justin wants something serious with a girl again. He doesn't want to f*** around anymore. It was a real date with her."

Although the pair's romance was never really confirmed, Bieber did open up about what he was looking for in a girl during an interview with Seventeen a year prior, candidly admitting, "I need healthy relationships with people I can feel safe with. People I can say whatever to, and I'm not going to be judged," he shared. "In a girl, I want someone who's confident in herself and honest. I have to find her very attractive and as someone I can see myself with for the rest of my life."

Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie had a brief but passionate romance in 2016

My, my, what a tangled web of romance these celebs weave. In 2016, Justin Bieber was linked to model and fashion designer Sofia Richie, who famously went on to date Kourtney Kardashian's ex, Scott Disick, from 2017-2020. Bieber and Richie got together after the "Sorry" singer unfollowed his future wife, Hailey Baldwin, on Instagram in 2016. "Sofia and Justin are basically on a love-fest right now, but it's virtually impossible where he's at in his life and career for anything to last with these girls," a source dished to People at the time.

After posting pictures of Richie on his Instagram, fans came after the new lovebirds on social media, prompting Bieber to deactivate his Instagram after first threatening to go private on the app. "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate," he wrote (via Insider). "This is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."

Things escalated after Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez, entered the conversation, writing, "If you can't handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol- It should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before any one ever did." Gomez later apologized on Snapchat, calling her actions "selfish and pointless" (via the Daily Mail).

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez dated on and off from 2010-2018

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may be one of Hollywood's most notorious on-again, off-again couples. After months of romance rumors in 2010, Gomez and Bieber made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in February 2011. "I don't like hiding. I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I'm 18 and I'm going to fall in love," Gomez revealed to Seventeen (via People). "I'm going to hang out with people and I'm going to explore myself, and I'm okay with that."

The lovebirds hit a bump in their relationship in November 2012, splitting for about five months before rekindling their romance in April the following year (via Life & Style). The pair then split again in 2014, but had no qualms about talking to the media about their relationship, insisting they were friends and would always care for one another. In 2017, Gomez started dating The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye), and after she went public with her kidney transplant, the "Wolves" singer and Bieber were spotted on multiple outings together, again insisting that they were just friends. Shortly after Gomez and Bieber's reunion, she and The Weeknd called it quits after 10 months together.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's last romance only lasted a few months before fizzling out

Beginning in November 2017, Gomez and Bieber were spotted out on multiple occasions, though neither confirmed their relationship status. Gomez even attended Bieber's dad's wedding in Jamaica in February 2018, and in a since-deleted Instagram post, Gomez publicly wished Bieber a happy birthday on March 1. However, their relationship took a few days after, and a source dished all about their break to E!.

"They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up,' however, they've been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed," the source revealed. "They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other."

Beiber was then spotted out with model Baskin Champion in April, and less than a month later, he started dating now-wife Hailey Bieber, who he wed in a courthouse ceremony in September 2018. The pair had a larger-than-life second ceremony in South Carolina about a year later (via Elle), and the rest is history.
