An advocate for women's health and wellness, Erica Brooke is a Federal Advocacy Day volunteer for Resolve: The National Infertility Association, launched the blog and community platform Hot Mess On A Health Quest, and is working on a memoir about her journey overcoming infertility and shifting to a healthier lifestyle.
A longtime fan of The Bachelor franchise since 2003, she auditioned for "The Bachelor" in 2009, interviewed former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky-Manno for The List, and was recognized by longtime Bachelor franchise stylist Cary Fetman for her feature "The best outfits seen on The Bachelorette," which Fetman shared to social media.
Erica Brooke has had a penchant for home and design since childhood when she'd visit model homes with her parents and watch "This Old House with Bob Villa" with her dad. She has seen just about every episode of HGTV's "Flip or Flop," saw the Property Brothers at a 2016 home show, has written about real estate and design for City Lifestyle magazines and for a luxury homebuilder, and enjoys decorating the suburban home where she lives with her husband and family.

Experience

Erica Brooke has nearly 20 years of experience as a professional writer, journalist, and editor, having developed industry expertise in lifestyle, fashion, and design; health and wellness, particularly women's health, mental health, and holistic health; and higher education and e-Learning. As an educator, she served as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University's Fox School of Business and Manor College in Philadelphia, where she taught writing courses. She is a Feature Editor for Glam, a former Feature Editor for The List, and a Feature Writer and Interviewer for The List and Health Digest. When she's not writing, editing, or interviewing for Static Media brands, she's contributing to other publications and blogs; providing writing services and coaching through her consulting business; and enjoying reading inspiring memoirs, learning more about her favorite topics, and connecting with others.

Education

Erica Brooke honed her writing and editing skills while studying communications and journalism at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA, from which she holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications/print media and a minor in marketing. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Education in secondary education/English from Temple University in Philadelphia, a degree which has served her well when training and providing feedback to writers.
