Allison began her editorial career in college where she served as the Senior Editor for HerCampus covering entertainment and pop culture. She was also the Editor in Chief for her university's monthly newspaper focusing on diversity. Allison has been working professionally in editorial for the past six years. Her experience in the industry covers a variety of topics including entertainment, lifestyle, home and design, travel, and more. Before joining The List team, she was the Managing Editor of a local magazine in Charleston and served as an Updates Editor for Travel + Leisure, along with freelancing for various publications. Outside of her editorial experience, she's also held roles in event planning, social media, and influencer partnerships.
Education
Allison has a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Winthrop University with a focus on print journalism: she earned a minor in writing.
