- Kassie started watching General Hospital at age 5, when she was arguably too young, rushing off the school bus to make sure she didn't miss anything. She finally found an outlet for her lifelong obsession when she became a soap opera writer for The List.
- She shares a hometown with Stephen King (no relation) and has often walked the cemetery where the movie "Pet Sematary" was filmed, hoping to soak up some of his greatness. When she bumped into King at a favorite local restaurant, he held the door for her like a perfect gentleman.
- A self-proclaimed expert on the TV show "LOST," Kassie spent several years blogging about every aspect of its creation and fangirling with the thousands of followers she garnered.

Kassie has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pencil. Her love of on-screen storytelling led her to focus her work on film and television. She has been a contributing writer at TVFanatic and MovieWeb and has been featured in Fanfare and Plethora of Pop publications on Medium. Since joining Static Media, Kassie has written for Nicki Swift and The List. After several months of writing soap content, Kassie became an editor at The List in 2022.
Education
Kassie has a B.A. in English with a focus on media studies from Simmons University. She also holds a technical writing certificate from the University of Maine.
