Experience

After receiving a master's degree in cinema studies, Ann worked in New York City as a script reader for an independent film studio and also as an on-set production assistant in Kevin Bacon's directorial feature debut, "Loverboy." She landed a freelance writing gig at Ranker and has penned articles for the past 15 years covering pop culture deep dives, celebrity news and scandals, and behind-the-scenes stories from movies and TV. Ann additionally worked as an adjunct professor of cinema studies and now designs film analysis classes for adult learners.

Education

Ann earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Susquehanna University. She also graduated with a master's degree in cinema studies from the College of Staten Island.
