Effie has been covering celebrity and entertainment news for nearly two decades. She has had bylines at more than a dozen publications covering everything from the royal family to reality television. After working as a nanny for many years, Effie branched into online journalism as a relationship blogger. From there, she started writing about famous relationships on a variety of websites, including People, Heavy, YourTango, and more. In 2022, she created her first mobile app, Beacheo.

Effie graduated from UMass with a bachelor's degree in English with a focus in creative writing and literature.
