Laurie works as a full-time freelance writer and managing editor for both print and digital publications. She also has four poetry collections in the works and an anthology book based on her experiences, as well as others', with Cushing's disease, a hormonal disorder that resulted in life-changing brain surgery that saved her life. Laurie, with a background in the arts, is in the beginning stages of starting a theatre company in her community. She also dabbles in publicity and marketing.
Education
Laurie attended Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts and in 2014 earned a B.A. in Theatre.
She also studied theatre and creative writing abroad in the spring of 2013 at Regent's University in London, U.K.
