Danielle began her career in the parenting magazine sector as an editorial assistant at Big Apple Parent and steadily moved up the editorial ladder at various NYC-based magazines, eventually becoming Managing Editor at NYMetroParents. Specializing in women's health and wellness, she has written on various health topics and conditions. Danielle's goal when writing and researching health topics is to educate and inform because she attests that knowledge most certainly does bring power. Danielle has been a health columnist for New York Parenting and a writer for SurvivorNet and Disney's Babble. She also worked as Contributing Editor for New York Family Magazine and was a columnist for Midwifery Today, Mommy Poppins, Brooklyn Paper, and Charlottesville Family.


Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights.
